Unfortunately no longer what it once was... I had obtained the tweezers a few years ago from the local store. Now it was time to replace them. Unfortunately, they are no longer available locally, so I ordered directly from the website using the article number. After receiving them, I was disappointed for the following reasons: 1. The grind pattern was changed, which unfortunately is noticeable not only visually but also "worsens" the feel (it no longer feels so "velvety". I don't know exactly how to describe it better) 2. The rounding of the outer edges is only present in the front area of the tweezers, so that the edges in the upper area press into the hand. 3. The spring force for the "automatic" opening of the tweezers was drastically reduced by reducing the cross-section in the upper area, so that the tweezers hardly open anymore and you almost have to let go of the tweezers for them to open at all, which then causes them to almost fall out of the hand. Therefore, I guess I have to continue working with the "old" tweezers even though the tip is heavily worn.
