The metal tick tweezers grip the tick much better than plastic tweezers or tick cards. I can only remove small and firmly anchored ticks with the metal tweezers. If you do it carefully and pull slowly, the head also comes out.

Luckily, I haven't had to test it yet. But the tweezers seem to be of very high quality and it's good that there are three different tweezers for different tick sizes. So I assume you can remove them well in an emergency. I find the price-performance ratio very fair.
